Reach and Asurion Team Up to Deliver Best-in-class Mobile Device Solutions to Regional Operators

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Aug 19, 2024 Asurion, the world’s leading tech care company and pioneer in mobile device protection and trade-in programs, and Reach, a leading platform provider of end-to-end digital connectivity and mobile virtual network enabler (MVNE) solutions, are today announcing a new partnership that aims to bring top-tier mobile device solutions to regional operators across the country.

The partnership delivers a turnkey revenue stream and customer retention lever for small and mid-sized operators, who collectively serve more than 40 million American households within the member footprint of the National Content & Technology Cooperative (NCTC). Asurion’s renowned device protection and trade-in solutions are now seamlessly integrated into Reach’s platform marketplace, offering an unparalleled experience and streamlined go-to-market for regional operators. Reach has rapidly become a disruptive force in the industry with its modular platform and turnkey solutions that simplify and accelerate the launch of new mobile and broadband services.

“We’re excited to help our broadband operator clients grow top-line revenue, deliver value to the end subscriber, and increase customer stickiness,” said Harjot Saluja, Founder and CEO at Reach. “Instead of worrying about a technical integration, our clients can be out there selling these services and delighting their customers with a simple and sleek customer experience.”

“Our members are extremely excited about the Device Store program we’ve assembled with various partners, and adding Asurion’s mobile device insurance and trade-in program makes the offering that much more compelling,” said Lou Borrelli, CEO of NCTC. “These are consumer-friendly products that help our members generate incremental revenue without having to invest in establishing the partnerships and technology themselves.”

“This partnership is a game-changer,” said Rodney Schlosser, Senior Vice President of Business Development at Asurion. “We’re excited that the collaboration between Reach, Asurion and the NCTC makes our services more accessible to regional operators. We are already working on deployments scheduled for later this summer and are looking forward to achieving significant milestones together.”

Asurion’s integration into Reach’s platform comes as a response to the growing demand among Reach’s customers for new value-added services and turnkey revenue streams, including device and trade-in programs that rival those offered by major network operators.

In addition to Asurion’s mobile device protection and trade-in programs, Reach’s comprehensive e-commerce suite also includes devices, accessories, consumer financing, and third-party logistics services, further enhancing the value proposition for their customers.
